Axiom Space has set the live mission coverage schedule for Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), the company’s fourth commercial astronaut mission to the International Space Station.
The Ax-4 crew will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 25 at 2:31 a.m. ET. The crew will dock to the space station on June 26 at approximately 7:00 a.m. ET. Once docked, the Ax-4 astronauts will spend about 14 days aboard the space station conducting microgravity research, technology demonstrations, and outreach engagements.
The Ax-4 crewmembers are Commander Peggy Whitson of the U.S., Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla of India, Mission Specialist Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland, and Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu of Hungary. For each of these countries, this mission will realize the return to human spaceflight, as they launch national astronauts for the first time in more than 40 years. Additionally, it will be the first time astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary conduct a mission on board the International Space Station.
